So we finally managed to leave Melbourne!! We made it a whopping 393 km to Nhill. No really... That's the name of the town. I like to think of it as 'null' or 'nada'... Because thats pretty much all thats here. A whole lot of nothing! They don't even have a cheesy claim to fame like a 'jeep on a pole', or a ' mock wool factory' like some of their neighbours...
You wonder why we only made it just under 400 k's.? We didn't leave the house until nearly 1.30 this afternoon... We still had a few things to pack, okay???
One thing Nhill has accomplished is Matt kicking off the tour with the first parma of the trip... He rates the hotel parma a 9.5/10... The only thing that kept it from a perfect 10 was it was a little but on the small side. We are planning to keep track of all our parma adventures... Will try to figure out a way to link something here on the blog.
Off to an early nights sleep... Need to make up 300 k's tomorrow!
